Surprise party held in Boardman in celebration of Nesbitt anniversary

XAUSTINTOWN -- A surprise party was held Aug. 5 at the ARS Banquet Center in Boardman for Mr. and Mrs. Reynold Nesbitt, 3661 Sandburg Drive.
The event celebrated the couple's 40th wedding anniversary and also Mr. Nesbitt's retirement July 31 after 30 years of service as a mechanic A with Ohio Edison Co., Youngstown.
Hosts for the party were their children, Shaun Nesbitt of Geneva, Ill., Shane Nesbitt of Austintown, Shannon Nesbitt of Newton Falls and Shari Behun of Youngstown, and their spouses and significant others. Completing the family are seven grandchildren.
Mr. Nesbitt, who is also known as Nez, and the former Patricia Lipscomb were united in marriage Sept. 10, 1966, at St. Patrick Church, Youngstown. They are members of the Carmelite Fathers.
Mrs. Nesbitt retired in 2004 from Bank One in Austintown, where she was a teller.
