XATLANTA -- Nuptial vows were exchanged during a 7:30 p.m. ceremony July 1 as Sara Beth Friedkin and Lance Bradley Polikov, both of Atlanta, were united in marriage by Rabbi Frederick Reeves at the Westin Atlanta North.
A reception followed at the same location.
The daughter of Carol and Alan Friedkin of Girard and the son of Sheila and Marvin Polikov of Omaha, Neb., honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico, and live in Marietta, Ga.
The bride wore her mother's redesigned strapless wedding gown of Venise lace.
Wearing black gowns were the bride's sister-in-law and honor attendant, Renee Friedkin, and the bridesmaids, Maryn Schwebel, Arica Kinast, Jamie Kessler, Emily Sonenshine and the groom's sister-in-law, Jodi Polikov. Flower girl was his niece, Shayley Polikov.
Serving as best men were the groom's brothers, Kenneth and Chad Polikov, and groomsmen were Aaron and Nathan Friedkin, brothers of the bride; Jarred Kest; and Michael Cohn. Ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Rylan Polikov, and ushers were Adam Frank, Jason Krause, Brian Nogg, Jeffrey Nogg, Matthew Fried, and Jeffrey Panzer.
The bride graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is a prekindergarten teacher at the Temple Early Learning Center in Atlanta. The groom earned a bachelor's degree in journalism at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and is employed by the C.J. Walsh Group as director of sales in Roswell, Ga.
