XBOULDER, Colo. -- M. Licia Morelli and Jed Schwalm, both of Boulder, were united in marriage July 22 at the Chautauqua Community House, and a reception was held afterward at The Hall at Chautauqua.
Frank Berliner of Naropa University officiated for the daughter of Paul and Eileen Morelli of Jade Circle, Canfield, and the son of Nancy Schwalm of Lewisville, Colo., and Richard Schwalm of New Mexico.
After a tour of Italy, Croatia and England, they will live at 3265 Foundry Place.
The bride's ivory silk tea-length gown featured an organza overlay, a gathered bodice, and ruffles and roses at the hemline. She wore the heirloom pearls her mother wore on her wedding day and carried her great-grandmother's lace handkerchief with her bouquet.
Gowned in varying shades of pink were the honor attendant, Caroline Mitchell, and the bridesmaids, Ashley Callen; Summer Trembley; Katy Meacham; Antonia Gelinas, the groom's sister; and Jill Morelli and Noel Morelli, the bride's sisters-in-law. Flower girl was the groom's niece, Jasmyn Kuntz.
Best man was Leif Mjos, and groomsmen were P.J. and Tom Morelli, brothers of the bride; Michael Barber; Steve Parkin; Brian Olson; and Josh Siegal.
The bride and groom graduated from Naropa University with degrees in psychology. They are employed at Imagine Innovation Developmental Disability Center, where she is the program coordinator and he is the lead resource counselor.
