XNOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The Basilica of the Sacred Heart was the setting June 30 for the wedding of Cindy Harding of Columbus and Ryan Sachire of Crawford, Texas.
The Rev. James Lies officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Maureen and Robert Harding of Naperville, Ill., and the son of Patricia and Frank Sachire of Canfield.
After an evening reception at Century Center Great Hall in South Bend, Ind., the couple left for a honeymoon to St. Lucia.
The strapless white gown worn by the bride featured a wrapped waist bodice and a semicathedral train.
Sage-green gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Niki Finelli, and the bridesmaids, Elizabeth McElwee; Nicole Miller; Heidi Bozzelli; Nicole Cesario; Christiane Harding, the bride's sister-in-law; and Christine Seciliact, her cousin.
Mark Sahli served as best man, and groomsmen were Jesse Potter; Scott Haughin; Matt Horsley; Ashok Raju and the bride's brothers, Robert, Ryan and Jason Harding.
The bride and groom graduated from the University of Notre Dame with bachelor's degrees, hers in business administration and his in economics.
Mrs. Sachire, a strategic planning manager with Express in Columbus, is enrolled in the executive master of business administration program at Duke University, where she will graduate in September.
Mr. Sachire is an assistant men's tennis coach at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
