Christen Rhodes, David Machak are engaged

XNILES -- Karen A. and Gregory J. Machak of Niles are announcing the engagement of their son, David Nicholas Machak, and Christen Claire Rhodes, both of 1401 N. Taft St. P115, Arlington, Va.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Gretchen and David Rhodes of Rancho Murieta, Calif.
Miss Rhodes graduated from Denison University in Granville and earned a master's degree at George Washington University. She will enter the Foreign Service in the fall.
Mr. Machak, who is also an alumnus of Denison, is on the staff of Congressman Tim Ryan.
Wedding plans are indefinite.
