Palomaki 50th anniversary to be celebrated

STRUTHERS -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. William Palomaki, 579 Maplewood Ave., will be celebrated during a family dinner party to be held at May 7 at Davidson's Restaurant, Youngstown.
Invitations for the event have been extended by the couple's family, Cindy and David Benedict of Canfield and Bill and Liz Palomaki of Youngstown. Completing the family circle are five grandchildren.
Christ Lutheran Church was the setting May 12, 1956, as Mr. Palomaki and the former Marian Dankovich were united in marriage. The couple are members of Zion Lutheran Church in Cornersburg.
Mrs. Palomaki, a homemaker, serves as a volunteer for Hospice of the Valley and with CityScape in Youngstown.
Mr. Palomaki served with the Army 24th Division during the Korean War. He retired in 1994 from Sears, where he was a paint department manager and a receiving manager.
