Koren 40th celebrated with family

NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. William J. Koren Sr. of New Middletown will be joined by their family today as they celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in Las Vegas.
Participating in the festivities will be William J. Koren Jr. of New Middletown, Kimothy and Michael Kane of Struthers, Carolyn and Byron Alvarico of Boardman, and Tamara and Efren Unabia of Honolulu, and the couple's five grandchildren.
The former Evlyn Orenic and Mr. Koren were united in marriage April 30, 1966, at Holy Trinity Church, Struthers. In 1991 they renewed their nuptial vows on their 25th anniversary at St. Paul the Apostle Church.
The couple will continue the observance of their anniversary during a trip to the Hawaiian Islands.
