YOUNGSTOWN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony March 25 as Jessica Marie Long of Youngstown and Joel Michael Cohn of Boardman were united in marriage at St. Dominic Church.The Rev. Joseph Allen officiated at the wedding for the daughter of Larry and Marilyn Long and the son of Bonnie Cohn and Joel and Michelle Cohn, all of Youngstown.
After accepting congratulations at a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman, the couple left for San Clemente, Calif., and Las Vegas. They live in Boardman.
Beading enhanced the bodice and train of the bride's strapless gown of white satin.
Black gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Sheri Hess, and the bridesmaids, Sandy Mayberry, Ashley Long, Alana Capple, Melissa Cohn, Jennifer Dlwgosh, Theresa Lenhart and Eleni Vanca. Wearing petal-pink gowns were the junior bridesmaids, Jennifer Battaglia, Taylor Clark and Makenzie Clark. Flower girl was Mia Battaglia.
Serving as best man was Thomas DeAngelo, and groomsmen were Larry Long, Nick Cambouris, Geno Raseta, Eleftherios Mamakas, Jimmy Kavouras, John Vanca and Gary Grachanin. Junior groomsman was Michael Cohn, and ring bearer was Mario Battaglia.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in information technology, the bride is a legal secretary with Atty. Rush Elliott in Canfield.
The groom graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and is employed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
