Gatlins, 'Camelot' coming to Packard
WARREN -- Warren Civic Music Association's 2006-07 concert season will open Sept. 14 with the 5 Browns, five young pianists from the Juilliard School of Music.
The Broadway musical "Camelot" comes to town on Oct. 9, followed by "A Viennese Christmas" on Nov. 27.
The three shows in 2007 include the Duquesne University Tamburitzans (Jan. 13), the Lowe Family (March 8) and Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers (April. 17).
Season subscriptions can be bought for $62 until May 31. After that date, the price is $70. For tickets and additional information, call (330) 399-4885. All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. in Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave.
Single-concert tickets, if available, are $30 for adults and $7 for youth. Last season, only about 100 tickets were available per show.
Westminster's 'Rumors'
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Theatre Westminster will present Neil Simon's "Rumors" Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2:30 p.m., in Beeghly Theater.
"The play is set in May 1988 in an affluent neighborhood of New York City," said John Gresh, director of the play. "The farce takes place inside the home of Deputy Mayor Charley Brock and his wife, Myra, where they are celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary. When the guests arrive, they discover that Charley has been shot, though not seriously, and Myra is nowhere to be found. No one knows what has happened, but as more and more people arrive rumors and speculation take over."

Young actor on TV
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. -- Braeden Lemasters, 10, a former Howland resident, has roles on two upcoming network television shows: "ER," 10 p.m., May 11, CBS; and "The Closer," 9 p.m., June 26, TNT.
Braeden is the son of David Lemasters, a Howland native, and Michelle (Donnadio) Lemasters, a Campbell native. David Lemasters was a member of several Mahoning Valley rock groups, including Left End, the Hern Brothers and Masterz and Johnson. Braeden attended Howland schools until the family moved to California.
'Grease' at Carousel
AKRON -- Carousel Dinner Theatre presents "Grease," Wednesday through July 1.
Showtimes are Tuesday through Thursday evenings at 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:30 p.m., Sunday evenings at 5 p.m. Matinees are Wednesday and Saturday at 2 p.m. (including a special Thursday matinee on June 29). Dinner begins two hours before curtain. Ticket prices range from $28.50 to $49, plus a processing fee.
