NILES -- The marriage of Alecia Foutz and Rocky DeFrank, both of 625 Washington Ave., Girard, was solemnized by the Rev. Jim Erb during a 3 p.m. ceremony April 2 at Pleasant Valley Church.
A reception was held at Mahoning Country Club in Girard to honor the daughter of Carol Foutz, 339 Iowa Ave., Girard, and Anthony R. Foutz of Warren, and the son of Christina and Jim Rodgers, 616 S. Hague, Columbus, and Rocky P. DeFrank, 704 Washington, Girard.
The couple have postponed their wedding trip to the Bahamas until summer and live at the Washington Avenue address.
The bride's sleeveless white gown was enhanced with pearls, rhinestones and lace and featured a cathedral train.
Periwinkle blue gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Adrien Foutz, and the bridesmaids, Desiree DeFrank, Carly Diamond, Cassie Carney, Amy Bloom and Jen Richards. A white and silver gown was worn by the flower girl, Harmony DeFrank.
Ricco Acevedo was best man, and groomsmen were Justin Dillon, Anthony Foutz, Lamar Hatcher, Robert Parker, and Bob Essad. Ring bearer was Antonio DeFrank. Guests were ushered by Adam Foutz and Vincent DeFrank.
The bride is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing at Kent State University, Trumbull Campus, and is a home health aide with Caprice Health Care Center in North Lima.
The groom is pursuing a degree in child psychology at Stratford Career College and is self-employed.
