A summary of recent criminal activity in Girard and Liberty:
GIRARD
April 19
Criminal damaging: A McDonald man left the Creekside Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St., and noticed front-end damage to his vehicle, and that its windshield was broken.
Theft: An employee at Splash & amp; Shine Auto Bath Inc., 614 N. State St., discovered a 12-foot grate was removed from a bay.
Fraud: An East Main Street woman was informed by phone that she won a $95,000 share of a $1.8 million Canada lottery prize and was issued a $2,998 check through an Illinois bank she was to return as part of a fee. The victim reported that she was told it would take two weeks for the check to clear and that she was unable to contact the caller.
LIBERTY
April 18
Drugs: After conducting a traffic stop at Liberty Mini Mart, 3007 Belmont Ave., officers took a 45-year-old Youngstown woman into custody on a felony charge of receiving stolen property as well as one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
April 19
Auto theft/recovered property: Youngstown police recovered a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix that was involved in an accident after a Warren woman reported her vehicle stolen from her sister's residence in the 1700 block of Naylor-Lloyd Road.
Vandalism: Someone used a BB gun to shoot several windows at a home in the 1900 block of Twin Oaks Drive, causing about $2,200 worth of damage.
April 20
Theft: A worker at Advance Auto Parts, 3179 Belmont Ave., told police a man in his mid- to late 40s took two four-piece extension sets, three socket sets and several other items. The loss came to $111.
Vehicle theft: A Ypsilanti, Mich., man staying at the Tallyho-tel, 4249 Belmont Ave., reported his 1999 Ford van stolen.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 1200 block of Will-o-Wood Drive reported eggs were tossed at his car.
Arrest: Police apprehended a 50-year-old Youngstown man walking in the 2900 block of Belmont Avenue. He faced two counts of theft after being accused of stealing several tools from Big Lots, 3491 Belmont Ave., and being identified by an Advance Auto Parts employee as the person who took merchandise from that business.
April 21
Vandalism: A man in the 300 block of Ventura Drive removed his swimming pool cover and saw two deep cuts in the pool's liner. Damage was estimated at $2,000.
Assault: An employee at Belmont Pines Hospital, 1615 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, alleged a 13-year-old resident pushed her to the ground, which resulted in the employee's suffering a twisted ankle.
Assault: Niles police turned a 37-year-old Niles woman over to Liberty authorities. The woman was wanted on a warrant from Liberty charging her with assault.
April 22
Theft: A worker at the Super 8 Motel, 4250 Belmont Ave., discovered a $300 TV was stolen.
Attempted theft/breaking and entering: The owner of an apartment complex in the 3100 block of Hadley Drive reported someone broke into a utility room, cut two hoses from a washing machine and tipped the machine over in an attempt to remove its coin box.
Criminal damaging: A Youngstown man left Joe Restaurant, 2921 Belmont Ave., and saw that his vehicle's passenger-side tires had been punctured.
Arrest: Police picked up a man, 24, at his Goldie Road home after confirming he was wanted on warrants charging him with theft and a traffic offense. The man also faced charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
Burglary: A woman returned to her apartment in the 3000 block of Frederick Street and heard someone climbing out a bedroom window. Stolen were miscellaneous toys, two undergarments and $217.
April 24
Breaking and entering: Someone entered a building in the 200 block of Colonial Drive and broke into an upstairs laundry room.
Theft: A man in the 300 block of Beverly Hills Drive found out someone accessed his First Place Bank account and made four illegal withdrawals totaling more than $1,000.
Theft: A worker at Motor City USA, 4506 Belmont Ave., reported the theft of a license plate.
Arrest: Police apprehended a 28-year-old Youngstown man after stopping his car near Goleta Avenue and Gypsy Lane and learning he was wanted on a warrant from Boardman. A charge of domestic violence was pending.
