CAMPUS NOTES \ In the spotlight



MUSKINGUM COLLEGE, NEW CONCORD, Ohio
Suzanne J. Stoddart, daughter of Donald and Nancy Stoddart of East Palestine, has been inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa Society, a national leadership honor society for junior and senior college students that recognizes scholarship, leadership and exemplary character.
Brian P. Thompson, son of William and Mary Thompson of Youngstown, was awarded a second-year Silver Key Award as a distinguished scholar. The honor was presented at the 75th annual Scholarship Recognition Day program.
MALONE COLLEGE, CANTON
Four area residents received special honors as outstanding graduating seniors at the annual Senior Recognition Banquet at Malone College. They are: Katherine L. Strawhecker-Martsolf of Enon Valley, Pa., communication arts; Andrew N. Hodgson of Salem, mathematics and computer science; Evan R. Scheel of Columbiana, accounting: and Rachel K. Huey of New Wilmington, English. Huey is also an Honors Program graduate.
GANNON UNIVERSITY, ERIE, Pa.
Regina Deramo, daughter of Daniel and Joan Deramo of Brookfield, has been named a Gannon University Ambassador for the 2006-07 academic year. University Ambassadors represent Gannon's best and brightest to represent the student body and serve as liaisons between the university and the community.
