SNOOP DOGG BAILS OUT AFTER AIRPORT FRACAS

Snoop Dogg bails outafter airport fracas
LONDON -- Snoop Dogg was released on bail Thursday after a fracas over access to a first-class lounge at Heathrow Airport, which injured seven police officers, his lawyers said.
The 34-year-old rapper was driven away from the airport's police station, police said, while speaking on condition of anonymity in line with department policy. They did not give details of five other men arrested with him.
"Snoop has been released on bail," said his attorney, Peter Binning. "He will return at a later date."
Binning declined to reveal the amount of money posted for the rapper's bail, and said that Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, has not been not charged with any offense.
London's Metropolitan Police said officers responded late Wednesday to reports of a disturbance involving 30 people at British Airways' first-class lounge.
When officers told the group they wouldn't be allowed to board their flight, "a number of the group became abusive and pushed officers," a police spokeswoman said on the force's customary condition of anonymity.
The six men were arrested on charges of "violent disorder and affray" -- or creating a brawl or disturbance -- and spent the night at London police stations. Police said all those arrested were U.S. citizens in their 30s.
Seven officers suffered cuts, bruises and other minor injuries, the force said.
Snoop and his party were denied entry into the lounge because some were flying first class while others were flying economy class, said Richard Goodfellow, a spokesman for British Airways.
Sharon Stone settlessuit with British paper
LONDON -- Sharon Stone has accepted an undisclosed sum in libel damages from a British newspaper that alleged she had left her 4-year-old son in a car while dining at a London restaurant.
Kirsty Howarth, a lawyer for the owners of the Daily Mail, told a judge at London's High Court on Thursday the newspaper now accepted that the allegation was untrue, and apologized to Stone for the distress and embarrassment it had caused.
Stone's lawyer, Rupert Grey, said the 48-year-old actress had agreed to accept an undisclosed sum in damages from the newspaper and planned to donate the money to charity.
JLo graces coverof People En Espa & ntilde;ol
NEW YORK -- While Angelina Jolie tops People's most beautiful issue, Jennifer Lopez graces the cover of the magazine's Spanish-language version.
Lopez is on the cover of People En Espa & ntilde;ol's annual "50 Most Beautiful" issue, on newsstands Monday.
"I've never tried to hide the fact that I'm Latina," the Bronx-native tells the magazine. "I think that's why Hispanics are like 'She's ours ... she belongs to us.' And that's true; with the Latino community, I am theirs, I do belong to them."
The 37-year-old actress-singer was also named one of People's 100 most beautiful people. Although many fans await the birth of Jolie's child with boyfriend Brad Pitt, Lopez isn't currently planning a baby with husband Marc Anthony.
