WATCHED DELIVERY STING

Watched delivery sting
NEW WATERFORD -- Village Police Chief Dan Hauter said he got to watch via Web cam as a suspected pedophile in Nebraska opened what he thought were nude photos of an underage girl. The package was actually delivered by federal agents. Hauter also said he watched April 17 as the suspect tried to hide the package as the agents entered his home. The 58-year-old man is a teacher from South Dakota who has been suspended over allegations made by a student. He has not yet been charged over the delivery sting. Hauter pretended to be a 14-year-old girl on the Internet. Hauter said the suspect performed a sex act over the Web cam and tried to solicit sex from what he thought was a teenage girl.
