YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State University's Student Government Association and Office of Student Affairs, in partnership with radio station 95.9 KISS-FM, is sponsoring a free rock concert featuring Cherry Monroe for YSU students and their friends at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Chevrolet Centre.
No tickets will be sold for the event, which will also feature three support bands: The Rydells, Firestone Elementary and Asleep. Free admission will be given to anyone with a valid YSU identification card, and their accompanying friends.
Doors to the concert will open at 6 p.m., and KISS-FM will be broadcasting live from the Chevrolet Centre. The Rydells will open the show at 6:30 p.m. with a 30-minute performance, and Asleep and Firestone Elementary will follow, also performing for 30 minutes each.
Cherry Monroe will take the stage at 9 p.m. for an hourlong performance.
'Our Ohio' visitsthe Canfield Fair
Sunday's episode of "Our Ohio," which airs at 6 p.m. on PBS 45/49, puts Canfield in the spotlight.
The show visits the Canfield Fair to see how the 4-H organization teaches responsibility and brings families and communities together.
Each week, the series visits a different location in Ohio. The show's Web site, www.ourohio.org, provides information on topics such as Ohio gardening, travel, cooking, history, animals, community involvement, and where to buy Ohio farm products locally.
Westminster choirsto hold spring concerts

Poison, Cinderellaconcert date changed
PITTSBURGH -- The Poison "20 years of Rock" tour with Cinderella at Post-Gazette Pavilion has been rescheduled Aug. 11. The 7:30 p.m. show was originally scheduled for July 20.
Tickets already purchased for the July 20 date will be honored on Aug. 11.
Lawn tickets are $12.50 and reserved seats are $25 and $39.50 and are available at www.livenation.com and Ticketmaster.
Jewish Heritage Weekon WFMJ's 'Connection'
YOUNGSTOWN -- Sunday's episode of "Community Connection," which airs at 6:30 a.m. on WFMJ-TV 21, focuses on Jewish Heritage Week.
Other topics include Better Hearing and Speech Month; the Ohio Commission on African American Males; the Buy Into Youngstown Home Expo with Jamel Brown of the YSU Urban Studies Department; stress relief with Tom Ciarniello, of Casal's De Spa, to mark National Stress Relief Month.
