BOARDMAN
April 17
Arrest: Officers arrested a 47-year-old Youngstown man and charged him with violating a protection order. The man was accused of being at the residence of an Applecrest Court woman who had a restraining order against him.
Theft/drugs: Police took a 28-year-old Girard woman into custody after a DVD box set was stolen from Sam's Club, 6361 South Ave. The woman was charged with theft as well as possession of drug-abuse instruments after authorities say she had a hypodermic needle in her pocket.
Theft: A worker at Expert Service Exterminating, 135 Marwood Circle, reported money and checks missing.
Criminal damaging: An employee at Willow Creek Learning Center, 1322 W. Western Reserve Road, called police after someone broke a lock bracket to a shed, tore shingles from a roof and broke a swing.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle/misuse of a credit card: A 29-year-old Boardman man was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and misuse of a credit card after a Vineland Place woman alleged he took her car and used her debit card without permission.
Arrest: Police apprehended a 32-year-old South Euclid, Ohio, man after finding out he was wanted on a felony warrant from Boardman charging him with four counts of passing bad checks.
Arrest: After getting a call regarding a man who returned to a home where he wasn't allowed, police arrested a Boardman man, 38, on charges of criminal trespassing and having fictitious license plates.
Drugs: During a traffic stop, officers cited a woman, 40, and a man, 43, both from Youngstown. Each was charged with drug abuse.
April 18
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown boys, 14 and 17, on theft charges after clothing was stolen from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Criminal damaging: A man in the 800 block of Park Harbour Drive found his mailbox had been damaged with a blunt object.
Assault: A man in the 7000 block of West Boulevard told police he was struck in the face.
Criminal damaging: Someone bent three split-rail posts on a portion of fencing at WKBN radio, 3930 Sunset Blvd.
Domestic violence: A 22-year-old Boardman man faced a felony domestic-violence charge after his girlfriend reported being assaulted at her Erskine Avenue apartment.
Theft: A man discovered his bicycle missing near his apartment in the 400 block of Mathews Road.
Auto theft: A woman reported the theft of her 2005 Chevrolet Impala from the Southern Park Mall.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a garage in the 20 block of Ferncliff Avenue and took a 20-inch boys bicycle, a 26-inch girls mountain bike and two sets of golf clubs.
Criminal trespass: Officers charged a 27-year-old Boardman man with criminal trespassing. He was accused of being at a Washington Boulevard residence despite being warned to stay away.
Theft: A man reported the theft of his dog from his home in the 4000 block of South Avenue.
Arrests: A Canfield man and an Austintown man, both 20, were charged with underage possession of alcohol after police investigated a suspicious vehicle in the township and said the pair had two bottles of alcohol.
April 19
Criminal mischief: A man reported someone tossed eggs at his vehicle, damaging its front fender, while he was in the 7400 block of Ranier Trail.
Criminal mischief: A woman told police someone has hit her property in the 700 block of Canterbury Lane with paint balls over a six-day period.
Domestic violence: A 30-year-old Struthers man faced a felony domestic-violence charge after a family member reported being struck in the head while at Cellular One, 8089 South Ave. The man also was charged with resisting arrest.
Theft: Items were stolen from a car near Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Domestic violence: A 35-year-old Stadler Avenue man was charged with domestic violence after a woman at the home reported being a victim.
Assault: An assault occurred at a residence in the 40 block of Aylesboro Avenue. No other details were available.
Theft: Police picked up a Warren man, 25, after learning he was wanted on a felony warrant from Boardman. The original charge was theft.
Domestic violence: Officers apprehended a 28-year-old Boardman man at a Willow Drive residence after responding to a domestic situation there and after finding out the man was wanted on a warrant charging him with the same crime.
Arrest: A Boardman woman, 20, was taken into custody after police found out she was wanted on warrants charging her with theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and having fictitious license plates.
Drugs: While conducting a traffic stop in the township, police arrested a 35-year-old Struthers man after confirming he was wanted on a felony warrant from Youngstown. The charge was possession of cocaine.
Robbery: Authorities arrested a 31-year-old Youngstown man on a warrant from Boardman charging him with one count of robbery. The suspect was accused of snatching a woman's purse in the Giant Eagle parking lot, 1201 Doral Drive.
April 20
Auto theft: A man in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court reported his Ford Explorer stolen.
Criminal damaging: Someone damaged a dryer at an apartment complex in the 100 block of Shields Road.
Theft: A man told police he was never paid for delivering merchandise to Lariccia's Italian Market Place, 7438 Southern Blvd.
Attempted theft: Someone tried to steal items from Champs in the Southern Park Mall.
Criminal damaging: A woman reported a security light damaged at her home in the 4500 block of Southern Boulevard.
Theft: A customer stole items from Walgreens Pharmacy, 7295 Market St.
Drugs: Police arrested a Boardman man, 36, on charges of trafficking in drugs within the vicinity of juveniles, a felony, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs, both misdemeanors.
Arrest: A 27-year-old Campbell woman was taken into custody at the Southern Park Mall on a warrant charging her with probation violation.
Theft: A Campbell girl, 16, faced a theft count after items were stolen from Kaufmann's.
Arrest: A 40-year-old Youngstown man was picked up near Southern and Midlothian boulevards on five misdemeanor warrants charging him with theft and various traffic offenses.
Arrest: Police arrested a Youngstown man, 45, near Southern Boulevard and Shadyside Drive. He was charged with theft and failure to appear in court.
April 21
Theft: Police arrested a 48-year-old Youngstown woman on a theft charge after merchandise was stolen from Kaufmann's.
Auto theft: A man in the 1800 block of Basil Avenue reported his Chevrolet Caprice stolen.
Theft: A customer left Denny's Restaurant, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road, without paying a food bill.
Drugs: Police apprehended a woman, 30, and a man, 38, both from Youngstown, after stopping their vehicle in the 5700 block of Southern Boulevard. The woman was wanted on a felony warrant charging her with larceny and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; the man faced one count each of possession of drug-abuse instruments and obstructing official business.
Attempted theft: A 39-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at the Mahoning County Jail on an attempted-theft charge relating to an incident in the township.
Domestic violence: Officers arrested a 31-year-old Boardman man at Forum Health Northside Medical Center, Youngstown, on a felony warrant charging him with domestic violence.
Arrest: A 52-year-old Youngstown man was apprehended near Southern Boulevard and Shadyside Drive on charges of complicity and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also was wanted on a traffic warrant.
Arrest: Police took a 36-year-old man into custody at his Applecrest Court residence on charges of tampering with coin machines, a felony, and failing to appear in court on one misdemeanor count of probation violation.
Drugs: A 42-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested near South and Moyer avenues. Charges against her were possession of drug paraphernalia and theft.
Drugs: Police arrested a Youngstown man, 18, in the 5700 block of Market Street. He was wanted on a warrant from Austintown charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia.

April 18
Identity theft: A Renwick Drive man told officers his brother had been using the victim's name, date of birth and Social Security number to identify himself to police.
April 21
Identity theft: An Edgewater Drive man reported that a collection agency representing a cellular phone company contacted him regarding an overdue bill from 2004. The man, however, never had service from the company.
