2 face drug charges

YOUNGSTOWN -- Police arrested two city men on drug possession and other charges on the North Side after they found suspected heroin, cocaine and marijuana on them.
Police charged Jermaine Thomas, 30, of Lora Avenue, with possession of cocaine, heroin and marijuana, and conveyance of drugs into a detention facility. Dwayne E. Thomas, 39, of Norwood Avenue, is charged with possession of marijuana and cocaine, and tampering with evidence.
Police said they recognized the men in a car Tuesday afternoon at a Griffith Street home, and they previously had told the men not to trespass there. Police said Dwayne Thomas tried to hide a rock of suspected crack cocaine on the ground.
Besides drugs, police found $350 cash on Jermaine Thomas. Authorities of Mahoning County jail later found a suspected large rock of suspected crack cocaine in the waistband of his boxer shorts during a search.
