CANFIELD Official offers details on city brush pickup

CIty officials say they intend to be finished by Memorial Day.
CANFIELD -- The city's annual brush pickup begins May 1 and continues for the month.
City manager Charles Tieche said residents should have their brush ready at the curb by 7 a.m. on the Monday of the week designated for pickup.
Tieche said homeowners should leave the brush there until crews remove it sometime during the week.
Tieche said the city won't accept branches bigger than three inches in diameter. He said the city also won't accept leaves or tree roots.
The four weeks
UDuring the week of May 1, the following streets in the northeast quadrant of the city will have pickup: Broad Street, north (odd-numbered addresses, east side); Callahan; Canterbury Court; Chapel Lane; Dartmouth; Hillside Drive (North); Hilltop Boulevard; Jefferson Place; Main Street, East (Even numbered addresses -- north side); Meadow Court; Montgomery Court; Montgomery Drive; Montgomery Lane; Montridge; Neff Court; Neff Drive; Oak Tree; Pinecone; Skyline; Talsman Drive; Village Boulevard; and Winona.
UIn the week of May 8, the southeast quadrant: Broad Street, South (Odd numbered addresses, east side); Carriage Hill Drive; Colonial Drive; Elizabeth Place; Fairground Boulevard; Fairview; Hillside Drive, South; Holly Street; Hood Drive; Indian Lake Boulevard; Janet Drive; Kings Lane; Main Street, East (odd numbered addresses -- south side); Majestic Court; Manor Hill Drive; Maple Street; Queens Lanea; Scott Street; and Squire's Court.
