"The Simpsons" (8 p.m., Fox): Over dinner, the family relates "the wettest stories ever told"!
"The Sopranos" (9 p.m., HBO): It's a food fight, Sopranos style.
"Into the Night" (9 p.m., CBS): Marcia Gay Harden stars in "Into the Night." It's a Hallmark Hall of Fame film about a writer whose carefully organized life is thrown into disarray when her teenage nephew arrives on her doorstep and gives off hints that he might be a victim of abuse. The cast also includes Taylor Handley, Kate Nelligan and Thomas Gibson.
"Big Love" (10 p.m., HBO): Sounds like trouble may be afoot on "Big Love," which is becoming more addictive as its first season unfolds. Barb discovers Nicki's secret shopping addiction and has plans to make her pay big time. Meanwhile, Roman gives the Henrickson clan his answer to Bill's settlement proposal.
"Masterpiece Theatre: Under the Greenwood Tree" (9 p.m., PBS): Keeley Hawes plays the lead role in this old-fashioned love story, based on a novel first published in 1872. Hawes plays young schoolmistress Fancy Day, who faces a romantic quandary as she considers three suitors: a young craftsman, the town parson and a rich, middle-age bachelor. Based on a Thomas Hardy novel, the program follows Day and the townspeople of Mellstock, England, through the cycle of the seasons before she decides which one of three very different men will win her hand.
"101 More Things Removed from the Human Body" (9 p.m., TLC): You could get a lot out of this special: 101 things, to be exact. Cable's TLC is back with a new medical-oddities special, "101 More Things Removed from the Human Body," which includes the surgical extraction of seemingly everything but the kitchen sink. The documentary includes on-scene video and recreations, as well as graphics, X-rays and other medical imagery to illustrate medical dilemmas confronting the doctors who treated these patients. Cases include two motorcycle riders who were impaled by the same metal rod, a woman who was speared by a live marlin, and a police officer who was impaled through the chest by a 2x6 board -- plus such sights as a living fly larva growing inside a woman's scalp and a patient stung by over 500 bees. Remarkably, everyone survived and is doing well.
