JESSICA MELQUISTSHANE PELANDA
XAUSTINTOWN -- Jessica Melquist, a daughter of Ken and Pam Melquist, 172 Argyle Ave., Boardman, and Shane Pelanda, a son of Larry and Diane Pelanda, 3940 Edenrock Ave., Canfield, were married at 5 p.m. March 11 in Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Reid Lamport and Mark Brungard officiated at the ceremony, and a reception was held afterward at the church.
The couple honeymooned at Seven Springs Mountain Ski Resort and live in Youngstown.
The bride wore a white satin gown with a matching bolero jacket.
White and navy gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, April Melquist, and the bridesmaids, Molly Blair, Beverly Mirich, and the bride's cousins, Carly Razo, Katie Lean and Kendall Lean. Flower girl was Savannah Elison, also her cousin.
Serving as best man was the bride's brother, Doug Melquist, and groomsmen were Michael Hollabaugh, Dennis Judy, Nick Hauch, NIck Glatzer, John Direnzo and the groom's cousin, Michael Mound. Ring bearer was Shawn Razo, the bride's cousin, and guests were ushered by Adam Depp, Robert Granchie, Jake Beatty and Tom Fabian.
The bride graduated from Raphael's Culture and Beauty School, Boardman, with a degree in cosmetology. She is a stylist with Pecchia's Salon and Day Spa, Boardman.
The groom is pursuing a degree in nursing at Youngstown State University.
