Youngstown State University's history department hosted the 31st annual History Day on April 8.

Youngstown State University's history department hosted the 31st annual History Day on April 8. Students from Ashtabula, Geauga, Mahoning, Portage and Trumbull counties participated by writing papers, preparing performances, exhibits or documentary entries that related to the national and state 2006 theme "Taking a Stand in History." The Mahoning Valley Historical Society also honored students for outstanding entries that focused on local history.
