Taylor's 300 game leads G.E. Mixed



Fran Taylor's 300 was the highest single and her 715 set was second-best among all G.E. Mixed bowlers at Wedgewood on April 3.
Chester Nelms Jr.'s 727 was G.E.'s high series.
Matt Clipse had 300 and Tim Graham 290 in Max Belchyk/Dr. Ferkula Classic at Holiday on March 30. Clipse's 770 set led the week's scores.
Bob Isabella had 300 and Tony Sciarra 297 in D & amp; R Garage Door at Wedgewood on the final week of the regular season -- April 11.
On April 5, Joe Steiner had his third 300 of the season in UAW 1112-Lucianno's Restaurant Men at Wedgewood and Tim Sheppa had 11-in-a-row 290 on March 29.
In Boardman Businessmen on April 4, Tom Billock had 300-765.
Gary Bueno had 298 in Lucianno's Restaurant Mixed at Wedgewood on April 1 while Michael Flick's 297 was the top single in Youngstown Steel/Mopar at Boardman on April 3.
Oscar Williams' 297 led Monday Night Mixed at A-Plus Family on April 17.
Nancy Goodman's 279-932 was the top four-game series and Erin Fairchild's 268-(740) was the top three-game set in Wedgewood Ladies Trio on April 11.
Pat Rohrbaugh's 727 led women in Window World/Casper Welding while Monica Scherich's 705 topped Hively's Ladies, both on April 4 at Amron.
Top Notch Remodelers won the Kernan Insurance Classic championship over Depizzo Sausage #2 at West Side. Top Notch members are Sean Spencer, Jeff Kalmer, Anthony Carkido, Doug Avery, Jim Spencer Jr. and Jim Spencer Sr. The winning team will be honored on May 5 at the Camens Center.
Mercer's Pro Shop was the fourth-quarter winner in D & amp; R Garage Door at Wedgewood where Mamonis & amp; O'Malley Pro Shop of Su Bachinger, Susan Mineo and Michele Mineo won the third 3rd in Ladies Trio.
G & amp; S Refrigeration won Tri-County Classic's third trimester at Holiday and Wing And A Prayer was Primetimers' champion at A-Plus with Four Horseman the runner-up.
Also at A-Plus, Five Alive of T. Wayne Robinson, G. "Hawk" Waker, Larry Bush, Chris Thellman and Willie Provitt won F.D. Mason's fourth quarter.
YSU
YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State University bowling club members Brett Brunkenhoefer, Rachel Miller, Lauren Bachinger and Grace Sciarra were named to the American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference's first team.
Brunkenhoefer of Hubbard was the only YSU bowler on the men's squad while Miller (a Chaney graduate), Sciarra (a Fitch graduate) and Bachinger (an Ursuline graduate) were women's all-stars.
The AHIBC bowlers-of-the-year were Robert Morris' Jason Wunderlich (men) and Indiana-South Bend's Aubrey Sauer (women).
Salem
SALEM -- Wayne Maris, Bill Gaston, Matt Kufleitner, Ron Sanor, Kevin Baker, Doug Carli and Chuck Dickey were inducted into the Salem Area Bowling Association's Hall of Fame recently.
The event on April 9 was the association's fifth annual. It began as a night designed for a simple awards presentation to a ceremony including a dinner, featured speaker and presenters for each inductee.
