Ordination set Sunday at revival center
YOUNGSTOWN -- Minister Minnie "Rosie" Thompson-Bryant of Youngstown will be ordained during a service at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Christian Revival and Discipleship Center, 3300 Hudson Ave.
Dr. I.T. Bradley will be the guest preacher.
Bryant was licensed Dec. 3, 1995, at Union Baptist Church under the pastorship of the Rev. Michael H. Harrison Sr. She was a member of Union Baptist for 24 years.
Bryant has served as an associate minister at CRDC since its founding Nov. 7, 2004. The Rev. Kenneth W. Paramore is pastor.
Bryant is the mother of two adult children and has eight grandchildren.
A registered nurse, she is employed as district director of clinical operations for Kindred Healthcare. She also serves as executive director of Victory Community Programming and as facilitator for the Youngstown Branch of Bradley Bible College.
She is a graduate of Youngstown State University, where she earned an associate in applied science, a bachelor's degree in nursing, a master's in education and will complete her doctorate in business this fall.
