Man dies in pickup crash in Beaver County

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Adam Fraser, 27, of Grace Lane, Aliquippa, died when the pickup he was riding in crashed into trees on state Route 30, just west of Park Road in Beaver County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The driver, Brian Patosky, 34, of state Route 30, Hookstown, Pa., lost control after attempting to negotiate a left curve traveling eastbound about 1:30 a.m. Friday. The 2005 Chevrolet Silverado crossed both lanes, left the road on the north side and hit a tree, police said. The pickup continued on, hitting more trees on the hillside and rolling, causing Fraser to be ejected, police said. The pickup then came to rest on its wheels.
Patosky was flown to University of Pittsburgh Medical Center with a severe head injury. He was listed in fair condition Friday evening, a UPMC spokeswoman said.
