Dominion takes school grant applications



CLEVELAND -- Dominion, one of the nation's largest energy producers, is accepting applications for its Dominion Educational Grants partnership program, which offers help to strengthen math and science programs for pupils in grades K-12.
The foundation will provide a total of $220,000 to be awarded to schools and educational institutions based on their grant proposals for innovative and creative enhancements to the regular math and science curriculums. Grants range from $500 to $5,000, and the application deadline is May 1.
Schools in Dominion's service areas in Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Texas can apply.
