WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- Senior LF Aaron Meadows (Wellsville, Ohio) went 3-for-3, including his 16th career homer, and sophomore Milton Joyner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Westinghouse) threw six and two-thirds strong innings in his first career start to lead the Bethany to a 7-3 victory over Otterbein.
The win was the Bison's third consecutive and improves their record to 8-19. The Cardinals, who made the NCAA Tournament last year and were one win away from the Div. III World Series, fall to 15-10 on the season.

BETHANY, W.Va. -- Waynesburg (Pa.) received a big-time pitching performance in taking game one 4-0, then scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to claim a 2-1 victory and sweep a PAC doubleheader from Bethany. The losses dropped BC to 13-19 overall and 3-5 in the league, while the Yellow Jackets evened their record at 11-11 and remained tied for first place in the PAC with a 5-1 mark.
