Toronto man faces charges in Internet sting

NEW WATERFORD -- Robert Moore, 28, of Toronto has been charged in Columbiana County Municipal Court with importuning over the Internet.
He was arrested Saturday at a house in New Waterford after he allegedly arranged to have sex with what he thought was an underage girl.
Village Police Chief Dan Hauter said that within two hours of initially chatting with Moore on Saturday, Moore drove to the village. Hauter said Moore originally claimed to be a 16-year-old who lived in Wellsville.
Hauter said that Moore may face additional charges.
