Summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:
CANFIELD
April 10
Drug paraphernalia/marijuana: Police charged an 18-year-old Youngstown man with possessing and concealing drug paraphernalia after police arrested him at West Main and Hood streets and found him in possession of 0.525 ounces of suspected marijuana.
April 14
Drug offense: Police charged a 24-year-old Akron man with drug abuse of marijuana after they found him in possession of 0.28 ounces of suspected marijuana after his arrest on West Main Street.
AUSTINTOWN
April 10
Theft: A total of 66 gallons of gasoline was stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave., on five separate occasions.
Theft: Miscellaneous stereo equipment was stolen from a parked vehicle at the Stereo Connection, 5474 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A 2005 Kawasaki dirt bike was stolen from a truck bed parked in the driveway of a home in the 6000 block of Stoney Ridge Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a woman for stealing makeup, sunglasses and other items from Dollar General, 1139 S. Raccoon Road.
April 11
Drug offense: Police charged an Austintown woman with possession of the prescription drug Paxil, suspected crack cocaine and marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs and charged a Youngstown man with possession of marijuana and cocaine and drug paraphernalia, after their arrest at Pete and Charlie's, 4176 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A CD player and radio were stolen from a vehicle parked at Mr. Rooter, 5411 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal mischief: Dog excrement was placed on a vehicle at a home in the 5000 block of West Elmwood Avenue.
Theft: A Dell laptop computer was stolen from Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.
Personal injury: A woman was bitten by a dog in the 5000 block of South Saratoga Avenue.
Burglary: Several items were taken from a home in the 100 block of North Niles-Canfield Road.
April 12
Drug offense: Police charged an Austintown man with possession of dangerous drugs (prescription medications) after his arrest in the driveway of a house in the 100 block of South Edgehill Avenue.
Attempted breaking and entering: Damage to the front door was reported at Spider's Tattoo & amp; Piercing, 4215 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A total of 85 gallons of diesel fuel was stolen at Carney-McNicholas Inc., 100 Victoria Road.
Theft: Police said a man took pens, markers and paper clips from Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Police said a total of $98.06 in gasoline was pumped and not paid for from Sheetz gas station on five separate occasions.
Theft: Steel pipe was taken from Victor Organ Co., 5340 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Cigarettes were stolen from Sheetz gas station.
Theft: Police arrested a man for taking items from the Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: Police charged a Youngstown man with possession of drug paraphernalia after his arrest at Burkey and Orkney roads.
April 13
Theft: Police arrested a woman for a theft offense at Colla's Market, 5509 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 30 block of North Turner Road.
April 14
Drug offense: Police charged a Poland man with possession of marijuana after his arrest at state Route 46 and Lou Ida Road.
April 15
Criminal damaging: The driver's side door and window were damaged on an auto parked at a home in the 500 block of Southward Drive.
Criminal damaging: Drywall and windows were damaged on new construction of a home in the 6000 block of Baymeadow Court.
Theft: An AM-FM CD player was stolen and the door lock damaged an auto parked in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: A cell phone was stolen from the Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: Narcotics and other items were found by the cleaning personnel at the Best Western Motel, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Police arrested a man for stealing food at Davidson's Restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Rite Aid, 5498 Mahoning Ave.
April 16
Theft: Chains, binders, ratchet straps and tarps were stolen from a trailer parked at Fuel Mart, 5301 Seventy-Six Drive.
Criminal damaging: Green paint and eggs were thrown at a house in the 5000 block of Oakcrest Avenue.
Criminal damaging: Damage was done to a vehicle's window parked at a home in the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.
Criminal damaging: A building window was damaged at Change About Salon, 1724 S. Raccoon Road.
