Orlando Sentinel: It certainly didn't help when the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare underestimated the numbers of telephone operators needed to handle calls when the plan took effect. Pharmacists across the country stepped up and helped their patients deal with the mess.
Political agenda
The complaint that drives the political agenda is that the program is too complex -- in other words, it offers too many choices.
Making any choice can be difficult, but having more options is good. Millions have worked with their families and volunteers and advocacy groups like AARP to enroll. And it looks like the vast majority of them are happy they did.
