Parents announce Logar-Schmidt wedding plans

XThe engagement of Tracie Logar, a daughter of Richard and Karen Logar, 170 Lake Pointe Circle, Canfield, and Christopher Schmidt, a son of Larry and Judy Schmidt, 845 Oregon Ave., McDonald, is being announced by the parents of the couple.
The bride-elect graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is in her second year at the University of Toledo College of Law.
The prospective groom graduated cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in forensic science. He is pursuing a master's in pharmaceutical science at the University of Toledo.
The couple will be married in an open ceremony they have planned for 2 p.m. July 8 at St. Rose Church, Girard. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at the Maronite Center, Youngstown.
