Adams-Slanina troth announed, wedding date set

XThe engagement of their children, Adrienne Nicole Adams and Maxwell James Slanina, is being announced by Christopher and Barbara Adams of Girard and Robert and Patricia Slanina of Poland.
Miss Adams, a transportation engineer with Ohio Department of Transportation in New Philadelphia, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Mr. Slanina earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from YSU and is a project engineer with Simmers Crane Design and Services in Salem.
The couple have chosen July 29 for their open wedding at 2 p.m. at St. Rose Church, Girard. A reception will be held by invitation that evening at Leo's Ristorante in Howland.
