RED CROSS BALL Muransky is honorary chairman of event

LIBERTY -- The Mahoning Chapter of the American Red Cross has named Ed Muransky as honorary chairman for its 10th annual Red and White Ball to be held May 13 at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre.
The black-tie event will be held from 6 p.m. until midnight and will feature a dinner, a silent auction for items from around the world, a live auction for trips and sporting event packages, and dance music.
Tickets are $125 per person and can be purchased by calling the chapter office at (330) 726-6063. Proceeds from the evening will fund local programs supported by the chapter, such as disaster services, emergency assistance for military families and health and safety programs.
Biography
Muransky is chairman of the board and founder of The Muransky Companies; and founder, chairman, CEO and majority owner of the Surgery Center at Southwoods in Boardman; and founder, chairman and CEO of Chestnut Land Co.
A football and academic All-American at the University of Michigan, Muransky was a team member of the Oakland Raiders in the National Football League and was on the Super Bowl XVIII Championship Team. He lives in Poland with his wife, Christine, and their three children.
