Lawrence Co. housing panel re-elects Heath

NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Robert Heath has been re-elected chairman of the Lawrence County Housing Authority. Heath has been chairman for the last year. Bill Betz was elected vice chairman.
In other business, the group decided to advertise for lawn care equipment. Executive Director Robert Evanick said they received only one bid in a previous advertisement. It was rejected because housing authority rules require at least two bidders.
Evanick said they will request bids for three large pieces of lawn equipment. The rest of the equipment -- small residential-type lawn mowers -- will be bought separately.
