IN THE CUP! Area aces

Patrick Burk of Niles aced the No. 2 hole at Tam 'O Shanter Golf Club in Hermitage, Pa. He used a 5-iron on the 175 yard hole. The shot was witnessed by Larry Miklas, Stan Sokol and Doug Umpleby.
Pete Bennett shot a hole-in-one on the No. 16 at Tippecanoe Country Club. He used a gap wedge on the 115-yard hole. Bennett was playing with James Donofrio.
Vic Rozzi Sr. of Austintown scored a hole-in-one on the No. 6 hole at Dogwood Golf Course in Lake Milton. He used a 4-iron on the 205-yard hole. Witnesses were Ralph Dean, Lou Gaskill and John Gorski.
Frank Ocasio made a hole-in-one at Borland's Golf Center in New Wilmington, Pa. He aced the 183-yard No. 7 hole using a 4-iron. Witnesses were Hector Gonzalez and Israel Lopez.
