Friends of Library to serve High Tea to guests Saturday

POLAND -- The Friends of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County will sponsor the organization's second annual High Tea from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room at the Poland Library, 311 S. Main St.
A variety of traditional teas and tea foods will be served at the fund-raising event, and there will be a raffle and music by a string quartet.
Those attending are encouraged to wear attire appropriate for a high tea and a hat and to take a favorite tea cup.
Tickets are $20 per person and can be reserved until Wednesday by contacting Deborah Liptak, development director, at (330) 744-8636, Ext. 118. Funds will benefit programming at the library.
