Thomas More 13, Bethany 6 -- An eight-run seventh inning allowed Thomas More (18-8, 5-5 PAC) to break away and register the win over Bethany (5-19, 2-5).
Washington & amp; Jefferson 10, Thiel 2 -- The Presidents (17-6, 5-2 PAC) collected 12 hits. Rich McNeal of East Palestine (2-3) took the loss for the Tomcats (15-11, 5-5).
Westminster 14, Lake Erie 11 -- The Westminster College baseball team improved to 11-12 on the season Friday, as the Titan diamondmen belted seven home runs as a team en route to their third consecutive victory with a 14-11 non-conference win at Lake Erie College (9-18).
Slippery Rock 4-14, Clarion 0-2 -- Slippery Rock University strengthened its hold on the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division lead with a 4-0, 14-2 sweep Friday afternoon of visiting Clarion at Jack Critchfield Park. The wins snapped a three-game losing skid for SRU, but more importantly improved the Green and White's PSAC-West mark to 9-1 and improved its overall record to 23-11.
W & amp;J 10, Thiel 2 -- The Thiel College baseball squad suffered a 10-2 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss Friday afternoon at Washington & amp; Jefferson College.
The Presidents (17-6, 5-2) pounded out 12 hits in the single nine-inning game, led by third baseman Shaun Pfeil, who finished 3-for-5 with five RBIs and a pair of runs scored, including a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth.
