Austintown Community Church names new director of ministries

AUSTINTOWN -- Austintown Community United Church of Christ, 242 S. Canfield-Niles Road, named Brad Bloomster of Erie, Pa., as its director of ministries.
Bloomster graduated with a bachelor's degree from Taylor University, Upland, Mich. He has served as director of Christian education and assistant to the pastor at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, Valley Forge, Pa.; director of Christian education and youth at other churches in eastern Pennsylvania including his home church, Asbury United Methodist in Erie; and was minister of discipleship at Christ United Methodist Church in Erie.
He also has participated in two mission trips to Ghana, Africa.
Bloomster, who assumed his duties this month, will provide leadership in the areas of discipleship, fellowship and ministries. His father was a minister.
