Garage sale to be held by Angels at fairgrounds

CANFIELD -- Canfield Fairgrounds will be the setting April 21-23 for the 12th annual garage sale to be sponsored as a fund-raising event by Angels for Animals.
Featured at the event will be food, a Chinese raffle and a 50-50 raffle. Sale items will include such things as furniture, books, toys and small appliances. No strollers or wagons will be permitted inside the buildings.
Admission is:
$5 for an early bird sale from 10 a.m. to noon April 21, then $1 until 8 p.m.
$1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 22.
No entrance fee April 23 for the regular sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., then $5 for a clearance sale from 3 to 5 p.m.
Donations for the sale will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday. Donors are asked to enter through the main gate on state Route 46 and to follow the signs to the drop-off site.
Items not accepted as donations include refrigerators, stoves, other large appliances, console televisions, sofa beds, encyclopedias, tires, artificial Christmas trees, clothes, and mattresses and box springs.
