Bulldog Invitational meet slated Saturday

EAST PALESTINE -- East Palestine High School will hold the Bulldog Invitational boys and girls track and field meet for Division II and III schools at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Poland, which moved up to Div. I this season, won the girls meet last year and Mooney won the boys title. Neither of those schools are entered this year.
Schools entered are East Palestine, Beaver Local, LaBrae, Leetonia, Lowellville, Newton Falls, Poland (boys only), Rootstown, Salem, Springfield, Struthers, Garfield Heights Trinity (boys only), United and Warren JFK.
Finals will begin around noon.
"Boots" Hawkins
COLUMBIANA -- Columbiana High School will be host for the fourth "Boots" Hawkins Invitational Saturday. The field event preliminaries will get underway at 10 a.m. and the sprints and hurdles at 10:30. Finals will begin 30 minutes after the semifinals.
Schools entered are Crestview, Heritage Christian, Lake Christian Academy, Mineral Ridge, South Range, United and Columbiana.
