Parents announce Forsythe-Leslie wedding plans

XThe engagement of Melissa Renee Forsythe and Jimmy Daniel Leslie III is announced by their parents, JoAnn Forsythe, 167 Meadowbrook Ave., Boardman, and Marilyn and James D. Leslie Jr., 4315 Kerrybrook Drive, Austintown.
The bride-elect is also a daughter of the late John Forsythe. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in applied science and earned a master's in curriculum and instruction at Ashland University. She is a fifth-grade teacher with Liberty Local Schools.
The prospective groom graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in management and human resource. He is a pharmaceutical representative with Eli Lilly and Co. in Youngstown.
An open wedding has been planned by the couple for 2 p.m. July 8 at St. Joseph Church, Austintown. Their reception will be held by invitation at St. Mary Assumption Social Center, Youngstown.
