Threat to blow up 911 center brings arrest

YOUNGSTOWN -- Police arrested a woman on a charge of aggravated menacing after she threatened to blow up the 911 call center, according to a police report.
Jaismin A. Morris of North Portland Avenue was arrested around 6:30 p.m. Monday at her home.
Police said Morris called the center to complain that the father of her baby had taken the child, and she wanted to file a report. She told the call-taker that if police didn't come immediately to take her report, she would blow up the center, police said.
Police said that when an officer got to Morris' house, she denied she made the threat. She said she told the call taker she would keep "blowing on the phone" until police got there.
The officer asked for a replay of the 911 tape, and Morris could be heard making the threat, the report said.
