A CUT-UP FOR A CAUSE

A CUT-UP FOR A CAUSE
The Vindicator/William D. Lewis
A year of growth, gone in minutes
Doug Lenehan, an eighth-grader at Frankl Ohl Middle School in Austintown, top, looks just a little bit concerned about what's happening as he lets his cousin Janet Carkido cut his hair. The concern seemed to linger, above right, even after he was done. Doug said Monday at the school that he's been growing his hair for about a year and decided to cut it and donate it to Locks of Love. That organization uses the hair donations to make wigs for people who have lost their hair because of illness or chemotherapy.
