Woman arrested after disrupting service

YOUNGSTOWN -- Worship services were disrupted about 12:20 p.m. Sunday at Family Worship Center, 1731 Belmont Ave., when a woman entered the center and began to shout obscenities.
She then exited the center and was followed by three church members into the parking lot. The church members returned to the center and, shortly afterward, a concrete block was thrown through a window on the west side.
A church bishop was injured by broken glass and he sought medical treatment.
Police were called and pursued the woman to the 400 block of Crandall Avenue, where she was arrested. She'll face charges of resisting arrest and vandalism. An officer who participated in the arrest suffered a shoulder injury, and another officer's eyeglasses were destroyed.
