NHL ROUNDUP Saturday's other games
Avalanche 4, Blues 2
DENVER -- Joe Sakic and the Avalanche extended the Blues' winless streak to 13 games. The Avs appeared in danger of losing for the third time in four games and further endangering their playoff aspirations when they fell behind St. Louis 1-0 in a lifeless first period. But Sakic began Colorado's recovery with a second-period goal, his 31st of the season and 573rd of his career, tying Mike Bossy for 17th all-time. And the Avs put the puck in the net twice early in the third period, rejuvenating a Pepsi Center crowd that had sat in silence as the scrappy Blues (0-10-2-1 since March 23) controlled the game for much of the first two periods. Peter Budaj (14-10-6) got the win in his 13th straight start -- and what could be one of his last.
Rangers 4, Bruins 3, OT
BOSTON -- Michael Nylander scored his second goal of the game 40 seconds into overtime and Jaromir Jagr set a Rangers club record with his 53rd goal of the season. Jarkko Immonen had the Rangers' other goal. Brad Boyes had a pair and Mariusz Czerkawski scored for Boston. Jagr's goal eclipsed Adam Graves' club record of 52 set in 1993-94. The Rangers, 8-2-2 in their last 12 games, moved five points ahead of second-place Philadelphia atop the Atlantic Division.
Mighty Ducks 4, Kings 2
LOS ANGELES -- Chris Kunitz scored two goals and Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 25 saves for his 28th victory of the season. Rob Niedermayer and Joffrey Lupul also scored for Anaheim, which maintained fifth-place in the Western Conference. The Ducks can clinch a playoff spot with a win at Vancouver on Monday.
