MERCER COUNTY Man gets jail time for attacks on women
Several other people are on their way to jail for various offenses.

MERCER, Pa. -- Nicholas Kline, 22, formerly of Mercer and now in the Mercer County Jail, has been sentenced to one month to one year in jail for a violent assault and other offenses.
Judge John Reed of Mercer County Common Pleas Court also ordered that the jail time be followed by two years' probation.
Kline had pleaded guilty to terroristic threats, possessing instruments of crime, criminal mischief, two counts of simple assault, two counts of theft by unlawful taking and one consolidated count of theft by deception, all misdemeanors.
Court documents state Kline held a 6-inch knife to a woman's throat and threatened to kill her at an East Lackawannock Township residence Sept. 30, 2005.
He also threw an object, breaking the foot of another woman at the residence, hit her legs with a broom and kicked her. Kline also intentionally damaged a $194 computer monitor by pouring water on it and took both women's purses, each of which contained $25.
In April 2005, Kline also passed $203 worth of bad checks at a store in Coolspring Township and one in Mercer.
Other sentences
Judge Reed and Judges Francis Fornelli and Judge Christopher St. John also sentenced these people:
UKenneth Fleet, 39, of Creek Road, Sandy Lake, four to 12 months in jail followed by two years' probation for criminal conspiracy/theft by unlawful taking, a misdemeanor. He was given credit for 87 days served. Court documents state that on Sept. 28, 2003, Fleet conspired with another man to take $1,236 worth of ladders and scaffolding from the Werner Company in Sugar Grove Township.
UBrian Clark, 46, of Logan Avenue, Sharon, one to 12 months in jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. He was given 186 days credit for time served and released. Clark was arrested July 9, 2005, in Sharon with cocaine, according to court records.
UJason Jenista, 24, of Clenmore Boulevard, New Castle, two years' probation for retail theft, a misdemeanor. Court records state he stole $91 worth of DVDs from Wal-Mart in Hermitage in April 2005.
UBernard Owens, 35, of Parke Drive, Hermitage, nine to 23 months in prison followed by two years' probation for prohibited offensive weapons, a misdemeanor. He had a 20-gauge shotgun with a barrel less than 18 inches long at a Darr Avenue, Farrell, address, June 17, 2005, court documents state.
UScott Moore, 33, of East Market Street, Hermitage, 111/2 months to three years in prison for insurance fraud and possessing fireams after a previous conviction. He was apprehended Jan. 8 at a Drake Road, Springfield Township residence with a shotgun and two rifles. He was prohibited from having firearms because in 1996 he was convicted of two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. Moore also was ordered to make $3,800 restitution for insurance fraud. No other details about that offense were available.
UVon Argyle, 51, of West Washington Boulevard, Grove City, two years' probation and ordered to perform 150 hours of community services for simple assault, a misdemeanor. Court documents say he assaulted a woman at his residence May 28, 2004.
URonald Bennett Jr., 22, of Homewood Drive, Hubbard, two years' probation for retail theft. On July 25, 2005, Bennett took a paintball gun with accessories and other items worth a total of $286 form Wal-Mart, 3300 Shenango Valley Freeway, Hermitage, court documents state.
UFrank Creen III, 19, of Pittsburgh, two to 23 months in prison followed by two years probation and ordered to make restitution for criminal trespass, a felony. In September 2005, Creen entered the closed camp store at Camp Wilhelm, 1401 Creek Road, New Vernon Township, and stole $120, court documents state.
UFrancine Moore, 49, of East Budd Street, Sharon, one-year probation for harassment, a misdemeanor. Moore made repeated phone calls to a man and woman and left obscene and threatening messages on their answering machine between January and September 2005, court documents state.
UEugenia Shelton, 47, of Prindle Street, Sharon, two-year probation and ordered to make restitution for retail theft, a misdemeanor. She stole four steaks worth $41 from Shop 'n' Save, 2199 E. State St., Hermitage on Sept. 9, 2005, court documents state.
UMichael Talbert, 27, of Washington Street, Farrell, one-year probation for possession of cocaine and criminal conspiracy to commit possession of cocaine, both misdemeanors.
UMaria Donadio, 26, of Belle Terre Avenue, Niles, two weeks to two years in Mercer County Jail for retail theft, a misdemeanor. On May 31, 2005, she stole 77 cans of baby formula, two packages of diapers and assorted groceries worth a total of $995 from Shop 'n' Save, Hermitage, court documents state.
ULinda Rabold, 36, of Lee Avenue, Farrell, sentenced to three weeks to one year in the county jail for two counts of simple assault. Court documents say that on July 13, 2005, she illegally entered a building on South Oakland Avenue, Sharon. Once inside, she threw salt in the eyes of a woman there and tried to hit her with a frying pan. The victim suffered a bruised collarbone.
UBruce Robinson, 36, formerly of Grove City and now of the Mercer County Jail, was sentenced to seven months to two years in the county jail for making terroristic threats, a misdemeanor. On Sept. 3, 2005, he entered a woman's bedroom at a residence on Liberty Street, Sharon, held a knife near her neck and threatened to kill the woman and her daughter, court documents state.
