Man faces drug charges after raid at his house



BUTLER, Pa. -- A 46-year-old Butler man faces drug charges as the result of a raid at his home that netted heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana.
Arrested and held in Butler County Jail on a parole violation is Ronald J. McKivigan, of 250 Roosevelt Blvd. The Pennsylvania State Police said they expect to file charges of possession and possession for sale or delivery of controlled substances Monday at the office of District Judge Peter Shaffer.
Confiscated in the raid, conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police-Troop D Butler Vice Unit and the Butler County District Attorney's Drug Task Force, were 50 stamp bags (1.5 grams) of heroin, 14 grams of crack cocaine and seven small bags of marijuana packaged for sale or delivery, according to state police. Butler city police assisted in the raid.
The search warrant for the raid was obtained after several drug buys were made at the Roosevelt house by police.
