FEDERATION OF WOMEN'S CLUBS Event planned to mark 100 years of service

CANFIELD -- Youngstown Area Federation of Women's Clubs will celebrate 100 years of service during a luncheon and meeting to be held April 19 at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St.
Activities will begin with a social hour from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by the lunch. A highlight of the day will be the presentation of a program, "The President's Wives," by members of the Salem Preservation Society.
In recognition of its founding in 1906, the organization has chosen "Remembering the Past and Building for the Future" as the theme for the anniversary event.
All former federated club members and guests are invited.
The cost for the luncheon is $14, and reservations are required by Friday.
