Here is a list of area services in observance of Passover, which begins at sunset Wednesday. The first day of Passover is Thursday.
Congregation Ohev Tzedek, 5245 Glenwood Ave., Boardman: Wednesday, Siyyum B'Hor (service for the firstborn) at 7:30 a.m. followed by breakfast and first Seder after sunset; Thursday, the first day of Passover with service at 9:15 a.m., the second Seder after sunset and the counting of Omer begins; Friday, Kabbalat Shabbat at 5:30 p.m.; April 15, Shabbat service at 9:15 a.m.; April 19, service seventh day Passover Yizkor memorial service at 9:15 a.m.; and April 20, Passover ends, 9:02 p.m.
Congregation Rodef Sholom, 1119 Elm St., Youngstown: Thursday, first day Passover service at 10:30 a.m. in Tamarkin Chapel, and April 19, seventh day Passover Yizkor service at 10:30 a.m. in Tamarkin Chapel.
