Elm Street man tells police he was robbed

YOUNGSTOWN -- An Elm Street man who was robbed on West Federal Street said the man who demanded money from him has been harassing him.
The victim said a man who has been bothering him at the Western Reserve Transit Authority bus station stopped him near Hazel Street around 3 p.m. Thursday.
The robber, who had a book bag, slammed the bag on the ground in front of him, the victim said, and told him there was a gun inside. The victim said he did not see a gun, but he gave the robber about $80 in cash and coins as another man approached.
After the second man seemed satisfied with the money the Elm Street man gave up, the two men walked away on West Federal Street. The victim told police he did not know either of the men.
