Alumni Society begins Penn State Ice Cream sale

SHARON, Pa. -- The Penn State Shenango Alumni Society has begun its annual Penn State Ice Cream sale to raise funds for student scholarships and projects at the local campus.
This year's ice cream fund-raiser offers 10 Penn State Creamery flavors: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Coffee Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Swirl, Vanilla, Chocolate (regular), Lion Tracks, Peachy Paterno, Butter Pecan, Cookies-n-Cream and Mint Chocolate Chip.
There are also Grilled Stickies from Ye Old College Diner.
Ice cream can be ordered for $5.75 a half-gallon or $5.25 each for three or more. Stickies are $3.50 per package of six.
The order deadline is April 18. Ice cream will be distributed May 13 from three areas: Sharon High School, Canfield Middle School and Augustine's Pizza Tavern in New Castle.
